1. What will it cost me to get gas into my house and appliances?

At Master Gas we ask that you sign a no-fee lease contract to establish you as our customer. This free lease contract protects your rights as a propane customer. Included with the free lease is a correctly sized tank for your home, business or cottage and the regulators to keep your system safe. A minimal charge to set the tank and perform a certified "GasCHECK" (safety pressure and appliance check-off) on your system is also necessary. Matt Udovitsch handles all the tank installations and can answer any specific questions you may have regarding tank placement.

2. Do I need to know how much gas I'll use or what I'll need?

No, that's our responsibility.... and one reason so many trust Master Gas as their fuel supplier. We make it easy for you! We will give you a free estimate of your yearly usage, and we can set you up with a payment plan that fits your budget! Because of our almost 50 years in the gas and appliance business, we are fairly accurate about usage, costs, necessary equipment for new or older homes, boilers or furnaces. If you want safety and service to make you satisfied, then Master Gas is the place to come!

3. The other company says it has service -- what's the difference?

Master Gas not only has a real person answering the phone 24 hours a day, but we have servicemen "on call" to come right out and fix whatever is not working --- your gas line, your furnace or water heater -- even at 2:30am when it's -20oF outside and snowing!

Other companies mean that if you have a problem with your gas system or have run out of gas then they will come out IF THEY HAVE TO and WHEN THEY HAVE TIME....that is, after they get the phone message the next morning. No furnace or water heater repair or training. They will refer you to a phone number to call and get a repairman from some local service store for your gas appliance problems... and your hassles.

Frequently we recommend our potential customers to pick up the phone at 9:00 at night and call just to see who -- or what -- answers the phone at the gas suppliers... because furnaces and gas lines don't just go out between 8 and 5 weekdays!

4. How do I go about getting gas service?

Call Master Gas Service Company! One call and we can get some basic information from you and set up a time to help your family become warm and satisfied. Questions we'll ask include your address, your heating needs or desires, what equipment do you use or plan to use on gas (furnace, water heater, fireplace, dryer and or stove) and how we can help you out. Our aim is to make this the easiest part of your day. Yes, we also set up appointments to come and look over your home or building to determine more accurately what you will need.

5. What about the price of gas? Does it change much?

Because Master Gas has five satellites with over 250,000 gallons of storage, we are able to offset price spikes by buying larger quantities when prices are lower. The national market determines some of the pricing of propane locally simply because the cost of gas being imported either from Canada or through Louisiana/Texas is the basis for markup further up/down the pipeline.

Factors to consider include the flexible pricing plans that Master Gas has to offer. If you're on a fixed income and need to be able to determine ahead of time the EXACT cost of your yearly fuel, you can Lock-In a price with a "Firm Price Contract." If you desire to "play the market" you can take the market price and decrease it by five percent by paying within ten days of a fill. OR you can spread out the year's payments by going on a budget payment plan system of ten equal payments from August to May each year. Your choice.... your convenience!
